Please follow the tutorials below to setup your site just like the demo. I’ve also included a link to the demo site to help you a long the way.
Please Note: the watercolor dots will not show up after you install the design. To install the dots please follow the tutorial below “Header Watercolor Dots”.

Header Watercolor Dots
This theme comes with 6 different watercolor dot images. With your purchase you should have also received a zip file called “images-kate-marcado.zip”. Please open this zip file to find all of the images then follow the tutorial below.
- Header Background Image – this is the watercolor dots in the header.
Important Note: If you do not plan to use the Watercolor Dots please see “Troubleshooting” below for information on how to remove the extra blank space at the top.
Header and Footer Menus
- Setup Menu Bar
- Menu Description – these are the smaller words that show up under your menu items.
Homepage Setup
To setup the homepage to look like the demo… you will need to places widgets in your widget areas called Home Slider, Homepage 1, Homepage 2, and Homepage 3. Follow the tutorials below.
- Home Slider – How to Install and Setup the Slider
- Homepage 1 – Subscribe Box under the Slider
- Homepage 2 (black background) – Flexible Widget Area
- Homepage 3 (also has a black background) – WooCommerce Products
- Home Recent Posts – Small circle images to display your posts.
Top Bar
This is the very top black bar above the watercolor dots shown on the demo site. To add information to this area go to “Appearance” then “Widgets”.
- Top Bar Left – Use a “Text” widget or an “Image Widget” to add information in this widget area.
- Top Bar Right – Social Media Icons
Blog Posts
- Add the share buttons “share the love” at the bottom of the Posts
- After Entry widget – you can place any widget in this widget area such as user profile, advertisement, or instagram widget. It will show up at the bottom of every post before the comments. I used the “Genesis – User Profile” widget on the demo site.

- Footer 1 – Subscribe Box

Troubleshooting
- Images are not the correct size as shown on the demo site. Also be sure that your images are 400×550 or larger to fit the available space.
- If you do not plan to use the Watercolor Dots image and there is a lot of white space above your logo/title please contact us. We can fix that for you.
