How to Add a Logo to your Theme

This is totally optional. Your template will still work without adding a logo.

A logo is a custom created image using fancy or simple fonts for your site’s Title and Tagline.

Here are the recommended sizes for your theme. If your logo is a different size please let us know. We can change the code in the theme to fit your logo size.

• Hailey Wells – 800px in width and 400px in height
• Kylee More – 800px in width and 400px in height
• Beyond Madison – 800px in width and 400px in height
• Kate Marcado – 800px in width and 400px in height

• Editorial Avenue – 800px in width and 400px in height
• Emmy Blake – 800px in width and 400px in height
• Classy Ink – 800px in width and 400px in height
• Carpe Diem – 700px in width and 228px in height

Step 1. After you are logged into your WordPress dashboard click on Appearance >> Customize.

Step 2. Next click on “Header Image” then “Add New Image”.

Step 3. Upload your logo or choose it from the images on your site. Then click “Select and Crop”.

Step 4. The next screen at the bottom click “skip cropping”. Very important that you click this button (if available) and NOT “crop image”.

Step 5. If the preview on the right looks good, click “Publish” then view your site.

If you don’t see the logo right away… try clearing your browsers cookie/cache files.
