How to Add a Welcome Message

A welcome message is a great way to introduce new visitors to your site. This step is pretty easy and quick to setup. The hard part is… what do you write?

1. Click on Appearance >> Widgets.

2. Click on “Text” and choose “Home Announcement” from the drop down box or click and drag the Text widget to “Home Announcement”.

3. Add a title like “Welcome to my Site”. Then add your content next.

4. When all done click “Save” then view your site.
