Create a New Menu

The first step is to create a new menu specifically for the footer area. Click on Appearance >> Menus. 

Click on “Create a new menu” then give it a name where it says “Menu Name”. Now click on “Create Menu”.

Add any pages, posts, or categories that you want in your menu then click “Save Menu”.

Add Menu to the Footer Widget

Click on Appearance >> Widgets. Next, click on “Navigation Menu” and choose Footer 1 or

Give it a title, select the new menu you created, then click “Save”.

View your site to see the new menu in the footer.
