Install the Demo Content (optional)
If you are starting a brand new blog… it will look nothing like the demo site. Uploading the themes demo content is a great way to get started. You will be able to delete what you don’t want and keep what you need. This is optional. You are welcome to skip this step and move to “Header & Menu Bar” below.
Header & Menu Bar
- How to Setup the Menu Bar
- How to Add Your Own Logo – this is optional. You do not have to use a custom logo unless you want to. The best logo size is 800×400. If your logo is a different size please let us know, we can help you with that.
Homepage
- Homepage Slider
- Shop My Style (optional) – You will first need to have an account with ShopStyle Collective, RewardStyle, or a similar Style site. After your account is activated you can create a product widget within your Style account. Once the widget is created… the Style site will give you an HTML/Javascript code. Copy that code. *The demos site is using ShopStyle Collective. Next, login to your WordPress dashboard and click on Appearance >> Widgets. Click on “Custom HTML” then choose “Homepage Slider” from the dropdown. Give it a title (optional) and paste the code you copied from your Style Account. Click “Save” then view your site.
